“you are not your story”

What is hypnotherapy?

Contrary to common misconceptions, hypnosis is not about losing control; instead, it's about gaining control over one's subconscious mind. As a hypnotherapist, I don’t have a magic wand that I wave and all your problems just disappear (although that would be so fun!). Hypnotherapy is about utilizing different techniques and modalities that help the client realize that they already have the tools within themselves to overcome whatever they’re struggling with.

So you’re saying the answer to my problems have been with me all along - why would I need you?

Yes, it’s true! You hold all the power to heal yourself, but for many people it’s not as easy as mind over matter. We as humans tend to have a strong attachment to our story and our egos. Not to mention there are all kinds of walls and blocks our stubborn minds build overtime to keep us from really examining our issues. All these factors make it difficult for us to find answers without a little guidance. Which is exactly where I come in! The primary goal of hypnotherapy is to access the subconscious mind, where deeply ingrained beliefs, habits, and emotions reside. By bypassing the resistant conscious mind through deep guided meditation, hypnotherapy can facilitate profound changes in thought patterns, behaviors, and emotional responses.
